Social Media Strategy - Step 3: Target Audience

"Target Audience or Market is the specific group of people you want to reach...They are united by some common characteristics, like demographics and behaviors" (Newberry, 2020).

In this step, you will be creating personas, which are descriptions of your audience utilizing demographics and pain points.

In these personas, there are five things you need write down about your target audience:

1. Age

2. Life Stage (College, Newlyweds, Kids, Retirement, etc.)

3. Location

4. Job Title

5. Pain Points (What are they struggling with?)

Additionally, you can have more than one target audience but try not to have too many.
